Toughest Two Arena’s

In my opinion the toughest two places to play in the Big East are the RAC at Rutgers and Syracuse's Carrier Dome in my opinion. Rutgers crowd is very rowdy and the noise level makes it almost impossible to hear. One of the greatest Pirate wins I witnessed was Seton Hall’s overtime win. Seton Hall stole that game and left the RAC devastated. Syracuse is a very tough place to play. The depth and perception of the dome can be very misleading. Plus the crowd level can be decimating. I’ll never forget when Seton Hall was canning three’s on that 2-3 zone on Big Monday and Syracuse was 19-0. The crowd was ooh and ahhing so loud it was echoing across the dome. I think the dome is one of the greatest places to go see a college game. I think the only place that beats the Carrier Dome is Cameron Indoor. I truly believe the greatest place to see a college game is Madison Square Garden. You get a sense of tradition when you step into the world’s most famous arena. You will experience many magical moments when you step into the Garden. You feel like your stepping into the primetime when you set foot in the Garden. The history and mystique of MSG can’t be compared. I truly believe there is no greater basketball conference tournament than the Big East tournament at MSG. There have been so many miraculous finishes in that tournament! Ollie Taylor against Pitt, John Leahy against Syracuse, Seton Hall’s manhandling of Syracuse by Dehere, Walker and Company and the Seton Hall-UConn battle, where the Pirates almost knocked off the National Champs! Please feel free to share your opinions or experiences in other college arenas’. We love to hear your input!
