The Orbs Intro

Dear Pirate Fans I would like to welcome everyone to the scout.com network. Seton Hall University has been in my blood for generations. I am the third generation from my family to graduate from Seton Hall University. My father brought me to my first Pirate game at the South Mountain Arena. The following year, my father took me to the Seton Hall- Georgetown game in 1989. I have never witnessed an atmosphere like that at the Meadowlands. I along with John would like to bring that same atmosphere to this site. I have been a life long fan of Seton Hall University Athletics. While at Seton Hall I was given a chance to become a basketball manager. I had a chance to become very close to the athletic department, coaching staff, Men’s Basketball team and the student body. It definitely was a once and a lifetime experience. I cherish all the friendships I have formed throughout. One of these good friends at SHU is my co-publisher alum Jon Shauger. We would spend hours discussing Seton Hall Athletics in Xavier Hall. I have a great love for Seton Hall University, so I decided to start this site with Jon. As far as the site goes, we will be bringing Seton Hall fans an experience they haven’t witnessed yet. We will offer a unique combination of great content, unmatched recruiting updates, weekly chats, and input from ex-pirates and alumni. I hope everyone is ready to board the ship, because it’s going to be a fun tour! Hazard Set Forward!
