Welcome to the Seton Hall Insider

I would like to welcome everyone to the Insider and just give everyone a taste of what we have in store for you. First I would like to introduce myself. I have been a life long fan of The Seton Hall Pirates as well as a student there. While at Seton Hall I had a chance to become very close to the Men’s Basketball team.

As a huge fan I felt like I hit the jackpot, as it is everybody’s dream to get to know the ins and outs of your favorite team. But this was truly just a throw in because I developed some lifetime friendships. One of these good friends at SHU is my co-publisher former basketball manager Chris Orbe. We would spend hours discussing recruiting and the play of the team with the players. Something that the players weren’t use to was my honesty. Honesty is a funny thing as I was once held by the back of my shirt outside the window of the first floor in Xavier Hall for telling a player he was the worst player ever to wear the pirate blue. Needless to say I was only joking and he ended up being a great friend of mine.

I have been an active member of many message boards throughout the past 8 years and been quite active. With me being so active and having such an intense love for SHU basketball I decided to start this site with Chris. As far as the site goes, we will bring Seton Hall fans an experience they haven’t seen before. A combination of great content, unmatched recruiting updates, weekly chats, and input from ex-pirates.
